PATRIOT DAY:
Thursday, 09/11/08 at 8:45
AM join us at the flagpole for a
very special ceremony of
remembrance. Refreshments
will be served afterward.

POW/MIA Day:
Friday, 09/19 at 6 PM. Join us
for a short program in honor of
POW/MIA Remembrance Day.

VFW Birthday:
Sunday, 09/28 - 12-4 PM.
Stop in the canteen and pay
your annual post/auxiliary
dues to receive a free beverage
of your choice from
Commander Bowman. For life
members, bring in a new
member to get your free drink!
Even if you aren't paying dues,
stop in for a VFW-Style
Birthday Celebration!

Friday Night Dining and Dancing:
Every Friday night, join us for an $8 meal,
followed by live entertainment by local
band "Classic Country". If you dine with
us, the entertainment is free. If you do
not dine with us, there is a $3 cover
charge for the entertainment. It's a blast!

Friday dinner will be $10 per person.*

Pasta Night:
Monday pasta is back! On September 15,
September 29, October 11, and October
25 at 6 PM, join us for penne pasta,
served with homemade sauce (still made
by Lionel & Nancy Bishop), meatballs,
sausage, tossed salad, rolls & butter,
and a secret side dish (varies each
evening).   Please sign up in advance -
Only $7 per person - all you can eat!

Lunch in the Canteen:
Stop in Monday through Friday between
12 Noon and 3 PM and check out our
daily lunch specials - regular menu is
also available!

Saturday Light Lunches:
Every Saturday, 12-5, stop in and have a
light lunch with our new canteen
manager, Betty Teller. The menu will
vary each week, but it will always be
homemade and tasty!

Wild Wednesday Wing Nights:
Every Wednesday, 6-8 PM, we are
serving cheap chicken wings, and
specially priced fried shrimp, chicken
tenders, fries, onion rings, mozzarella
sticks, poppers, and fried mushrooms!
Come on out and party with the "Funky
Chicken Crew"!

Snackin' Sundays:
Come watch your favorite sporting
events on our big-screen TV and munch
on some free food EVERY Sunday 1-5
PM. Join the fun & games! (Donations go
to Cancer Aid & Research).

Sunday Breakfast Buffet:
Join us the 2nd Sunday of each month,
from 9AM to 11:00 AM, for scrambled
eggs, sausage gravy & biscuits, bacon,
sausage, hash browns, juice & coffee!
Only $6 - all you can eat!
